The orchestra (originally known as the Jan Modelski Pop Orchestra) was started in 2019 by Jan Modelski, an accomplished musician who is passionate about community music, bringing local musicians together.
This orchestra’s repertoire strays from the conventional classical set, exploring instead the wonderful world of pop, theatre and musicals .
